Mali Muslim national got a French citizenship for saving many lives during 9th January terror attack

A Muslim brother Lassana Bathily from Mali was granted a French citizenship during a ceremony that was held by the government today

for saving lives at Kosher Supermarket in Paris during a shoot out by another Muslim militant Amedy Coulibaly on January 9th. Lassana was in the supermarket's  underground storeroom when the terrorist started killing people, opened the coldroom and let people who were running for dear life in and switched it off. He escaped the supermarket and and tipped the cops of what was happening

The 24 year old went to France in 2006 and applied for French citizenship last years and the French government said,'act of humanity has become a symbol of an Islam of peace and tolerance.'

 Lassana couldn't hide the joy that was in him and in his speech upon receiving the citizenship, he said......
'Tonight I'm very proud and deeply touched. I'm not a hero, I am Lassana. I'll stay true to myself. People are all equal to me and skin color isn't a matter. France is the country of human rights,'

Narrating how he saved the people the Hero said,
"When they ran down, I opened the door [of the freezer]. There are several people who came to me. I turned off the light, I turned off the freezer. When I turned off the cold, I put them [hostages] in, I closed the door, I told them to stay calm.
