Malawi-President Peter Mutharika is not going to attend the Zambian President's funeral scheduled for tomorrow due to an known other important commitment. He will be represented by his Vice Mr Saulos Chalima who will be in Zambia today the 10th of November and tomorrow then return to Malawi on Thursday the 12th one day after the burial.
Besides the Malawian's absents, it seems the funeral is going to be attended by a handful of national leaders like, President R.G Mugabe of Zimbabwe, Joseph Kabila of DRC, Paul Kagame of Rwanda,Yoweri Museveni of Uganda, Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya, the out going president of Mozambique Amando Guebuza and President Hifikepunye Pohamba of Namibia. President Micheal Sata died in London on October 28 after an undisclosed illness. He will be buried tomorrow the 11th of November at the presidential burial site called Embassy Park in Lusaka.
Mutharika also failed to attend the Zambian independence celebration and send a representative in form of the former Malawian President Bakili Muluzi's young brother. Hope everything is well between them!!!!!!!
Just passing by zebra crossing.
