Following the death of Micheal Sata the Zambian President, hasleft Zambia without choice, but to swear in Mr Guy Scott as the interim President. Mr Scott will be leading Zambia for the next 90 days, then the nation will have fresh presidential elections to choose a new and permanent president.
It is very unfortunate that Mr Guy will not be able to contest for the presidential post since his parents were not born in Zambia, that is according to the current Zambian Constitution which does not allow children of foreigners to be presidents.
Scott who is 70 years old and he was born in Zambia to a British father and a Scottish mother. He has been Zambia's vice President since 2011 the time President Sata was voted as the President of Zambia. He is the first white African president, which was last seen during the Apathied period in South Africa. Go, go President Scott.
Just passing by zebra crossing.
