Why is that a lot of women are afraid of blood yet they see a plenty of it month in month out?

Every time there is an accident or a fight, most of the women tend to run away or hid their face in order to avoid direct eye contact with blood, is it all because they are so afraid of blood or what? You will even hear some of them saying,"i can't stand the sight of blood" which drives me a little bit crazy and make me want to ask. Are they not the one playing with it month in month out? What's so different between those two types of blood? Or mano-mano emuroyi kunyepera kutya bvinyu iye aka sungirira nyoka muchiuno!! I don't know how to put it in English. At child birth they see blood, when visiting the moon they see blood, when loosing their virginity  they see blood, so what is it? Awww i don't understand this group of people.
Tell me folks, i don't understand them being scared of a lizard whilst tying a snake around their waists. lol.
